The Corn Maze

After target practice, we headed up to CM Farms to check out their corn maze. This was actually one of our countdown to Halloween activities that we didn't get a chance to do in October. I have wanted to go do this for a few years, and we finally made it.



It was definitely worth the drive.



At the beginning they give out maps of the maze and a few instructions. The kids grabbed theirs and took off running............breaking one of the two rules..........and in the wrong direction.



So we got them going in the right direction...........



.............and then made them stop for a quick picture.



Along the way there were questions to answer. If you answered correctly, they sent you in the right direction. If you didn't answer correctly, it sent you in a circle.



John David was lovin' it!



And so was Katie. She led the way and helped with the questions.



John David was trying hard to keep up with the girls.



But he started slowing down way before I thought he would.



My handsome men.



And my cute girls.









And it wasn't long before he ended up on Daddy's shoulders.



He loved it, but then Daddy started getting tired.



So I tried to get him to get on my shoulders to give Daddy a break, but he wouldn't. He is all about Daddy these days.



The girls led the way the entire time.



But when they got a little confused..........



......Mr. Ryan helped them navigate.



Heidi and I decided that if we had been in charge of navigating, we would have been in there a lot longer.



After the maze, we got a quick snack, and found some other fun things to do.











John David loved these big tires.



And the big mound of dirt with the slide. But is was soooo steep, and it made me nervous watching him climb up.







But the favorite was definitely tether ball.





Heidi played everyone.









And just for the record, she beat everyone.



She is the tether ball champ.



It was a super fun day!
