Katie's last game

Tonight was Katie's last softball game.



She got to play first base a couple of innings.



And she did a great job! She even got an out.



She didn't get a hit, but she did score.



And she got a high five from her little brother.



They finished their season with a victory. Way to go girls!



She had some good assistant coaches.



And Coach Leslie was awesome!



But the best part of the season was having her friend Emily on her team.



They've had a fun time together.

We brought Jamiee home with us after Jessica's graduation party to spend a few days with her before our summer schedules get too busy.



We had a great time hanging out with this awesome girl!

Celebrating the Graduate

Our niece Jessica is officially a graduate, as of today.



She requested that Aaron boil crawfish for her graduation celebration. And since he loves to boil crawfish, he was happy to do it for her.



Aaron upset Sarah when he sprayed her, so Paw Paw paid him back for her.



Adam, Rachel, and Maggie came to help celebrate too.



Katie and Jaimee played tether ball while waiting for the crawfish.



Sarah played with Jaimee's bird.



John David had a blast driving around Clayton's truck.



He was having a few problems with the engine though, and had to get out a few times to work on it. This kids cracks me up!



He also entertained us with his fishing stories from his fishing trip with Daddy and Paw Paw early that morning.



As usual, my husband did an amazing job. His crawfish are the best!

John David helped Daddy get some crawfish after all of his hard work.

Hello Summer!

Today was the last day of school. Wahoo! I found this cute idea on pinterest of things to do each day to keep us busy this summer.

I have lots of fun things I hope to accomplish with my kids this summer. Oh how I love summertime with my babies!

It's official......we have a middle schooler!

How is my baby in middle school already? She was just a kindergartener yesterday! Crying everyday when I'd drop her off and telling me she wished I was a teacher so I could go to school with her. Time really does speed up once they start school. I'm glad that she will be at the same school still, but she'll be moving over to the other side of the school. So to celebrate their class moving over to middle school, they had a party at SPAR tonight.



She had a great time hanging out with her friends.







She even won a Orange Leaf gift card. Needless to say, she was ecstatic!

The Lady Cajuns

Sarah is on the Lady Cajuns coach pitch softball team. They had their first game tonight. She really enjoys playing.



She plays right field too......just like Katie......



......and does a great job backing up the first baseman.



And she's a pretty good hitter too. In fact, her team has a lot of good hitters.



Her friend Madison is on her team, which works out well for John David since he loves to play with Madison's younger brother, Stetson.



Those two silly boys do all kinds of "exploring" during their sisters' games.



They played really well.



A great start to the season.



Sarah is #1.



But we already knew that. ;)
