the first day of summer
Yesterday was the last day of school. So what are we doing on the first day of summer? ROAD TRIP!! It was kind of a spur of the moment thing. I've just been feeling like my kids really need some cousin time. So we loaded up and headed to NC. We stopped for the night in Conyers, Georgia. We stayed at a wonderful hotel with a pool and hot tub, a huge room with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in a hotel, and the friendliest hotel staff ever!
The kids were thrilled to be out of the car and playing in the water.
